How to Remove Underarm Stains With Peroxide & Baking Soda Paste
- 1). Combine 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide in a container. Stir the ingredients to create a thick paste.
- 2). Cover a flat surface with a white towel. Place the shirt onto the towel. Apply the paste to the underarm stains by blotting it onto the shirt with a washcloth.
- 3). Allow the paste to sit on the underarm stains for 30 minutes. Scrub on the underarm stains with an old toothbrush to help loosen the stain.
- 4). Launder the shirt with your preferred laundry detergent. Use warm or cool water for best results.
- 5). Hang the shirt to dry instead of placing it in a dryer. The heat from the dryer may make the stains permanent if they still exist. Treat the underarm stains again with the peroxide and baking soda paste if they remain.
