Tunica, Mississippi, is one of the most popular gambling destinations in the United States. Located in northwestern Mississippi about 40 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee, Tunica is home to several large casino hotel resorts including Bally's, Sam's Town, Harrah's, Gold Strike and Hollywood Casino. Although many of the casinos do not accept guests with pets, there are a number of dog-friendly hotels in the Tunica area. - Cottage Inn, which accepts pets for a $10 nightly fee, is only three minutes from Tunica's major casinos. Each cottage has two rooms, and some have a fireplace and kitchenette. Guestrooms have Tempur-Pedic mattresses, satellite TVs with premium channels, free wireless Internet access, microwaves, refrigerators and coffeemakers.
