How Can I Listen to My Messages From a Different Phone?
- 1). Set up the phone to allow voice-mail access from another line. This process varies by phone so you will need to check your phone's User's Manual. Some cell phones are automatically set up to allow you to check the voice mail from other phones.
- 2). Call your cell phone number from any regular touch-tone phone. A rotary phone will not allow you to enter the password correctly.
- 3). Interrupt your phone's automated voice-mail message by pressing the star (*) button before the voice mail asks you to leave a message. This will change the message to an automated voice asking you to enter your phone's pass code.
- 4). Enter your phone's pass code when prompted by using the number buttons. Some phones will also require you to enter the "#" key before continuing. The pass code is normally four digits. If you have never set up a four-digit pass code for your cell phone, the pass code is usually your phone's seven-digit phone number.
- 5). Use the automated prompts that you are given. You can listen, save and delete voice mail messages as you normally would.
