Video: How to Work Out Forearms With No Equipment
Video Transcript
Hi, I'm Kusha Karvandi, founder of Exerscribe here at Fit Athletic Club, San Diego, and today we're going to talk about training the forearms with no equipment. The great thing about working forearms is you don't really need that much equipment. If you're going to use no equipment and you want to work your forearms, you can work them concentrically by finding a stationary object and focus on pulling. I would do five to twenty seconds at a time, three to five sets and just focus on an isometric contraction, pulling against the stationary object. Ideally something that's immovable. Change up the grips to give your forms different angles and different positions of flexion. If you want to work your forearms eccentrically, do the opposite, get a good grip on the stationary object and focus on pushing.
