How to Crochet a Neck Warmer
- 1). Start by making a crochet chain that is approximately 24 inches long. See Resources if you need to brush up on basic crochet technique.
- 2). Turn your row and single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in each chain to the end of the row.
- 3). Turn, chain 1 stitch, then single crochet in each stitch across the neck warmer.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 until the neck warmer is the width you want; 10 to 12 inches should be adequate.
- 5). Fasten off and use the yarn needle to weave in all loose ends. If you would like to turn the neck warmer into the cowl style, leave a long tail when you fasten off and use that to stitch the short ends of the neck warmer together to form a ring.
