Getting car insurance quotes online can make your wallet a little "healthier", but that's just one thing.
Maintaining your wallet's "health" is another thing.
After getting your car insurance quotes, you have to do a lot of things to bring those bills down.
For instance, you can arrange a high deductible policy which means less amounts to be paid for on monthly premiums.
That being said, you can also arrange to pay your premiums when you want to.
There are a few ways to pay your car insurance company, and you can choose one that suits you best.
First off is the usual monthly payment, which is the standard way of paying the bills, really.
Almost everything that you sign up for is being paid for every month, which can really take its toll on your income.
If you have a steady income, and there is always a good amount left after paying every bill, then the monthly payment for car insurance is right for you.
There are also car insurance providers that give you the opportunity to pay bi-monthly, which can relieve you of your monthly burdens.
Of course, depending on the type of coverage you have, this can still prove a strong adversary every two months.
Sure, you can save on expenses every two months, but your wallet will be getting whacked every other two months as well.
The good thing is that some insurance providers give out a little discount if you go bi monthly.
The third option is going for an annual payment.
This basically relieves you of your payment duties for eleven months, and gives you more room to breathe.
However, this doesn't mean you can go easy during the eleven month breather, as you will be paying a year's worth of car insurance bills on the twelfth.
The good thing is that you may get a discount if you pay annually since this means you are going long term with the insurance company; and we all know that insurance companies love loyal clients.
All in all, it depends on the type of coverage you have.
If you're going for a full coverage, then you can save a lot if you don't pay monthly; not to mention you might even get discounts if you pay bi-monthly or annually.
If you have a tight budget and you only go for collision, it may not be worth going annual payment since the savings may not make a difference.
It's still up to you.
