I am sitting in my chair, feeling cozy being here with my laptop in my lap.
There is nothing like the warm glow of a computer screen to make one glad to be alive.
Believe it or not however, there are better things to make one feel good about living life.
One of those things, for me, is spring time camping.
As I sit here writing this article, I gaze out the window for inspiration.
The sky is kind of grey, it is cold outside, there are not any leaves on the tree's, and I am getting inspired! One might think it does not take much to inspire me if the drabness of winter does it for me.
Well, it is not the afore-mentioned items, that inspire me.
Inspiration comes from knowing that right before my eyes things are about to change.
Yes, it is the fact that spring is just around the corner that gets me excited.
As I write in this chair often, I gaze out this window almost daily.
I am excited about the show nature will be putting on soon.
The grass will soon start turning green.
The birds will be returning as they have done for thousands of years, just to sing for me.
Wow, is not that great? Leaves will begin to bud.
Early flowers will peek their head above ground, soon to give us that special sweet aroma that only nature can give.
There is something special about walking in the spring.
When you walk past different early flowers and bushes in peoples landscapes, and your nose is filled with the different scents they give..
One must smile either outwardly or inwardly as that takes place knowing they are a part of something so spectacular.
Then of course those dreary skies become sunny.
The temperature changes from the frigid bite of cold to the delightful touch of sunshine on our face.
We exchange our winter coats for our spring jackets which is always a welcome exchange.
When that happens it is a perfect sign for me to know something has arrived.
The camping season.
Camping is one of the most enjoyable ways I know to experience spring.
I take out of storage my travel trailer, and head for the campground.
Setting outside and listening to the birds sing, and watching others mingle around the campground signals "all is well" in the universe.
The same happens in the evening as I sit around a campfire with the warmth it provides on my face, as the little spring chill is felt on my back.
I listen to the crackle of the fire and gaze into a starry night and think to myself "what a beautiful world".
