How The Difference Between A Mole And A Wart Removal Can Affect Your Treatment?

103 41
Mole or a wart removal first depends on what you have.
Do you know how to tell them apart? You may be confused and I understand why.
Average person does not know the medical difference and the source.
There are different reasons and causes for both.
Warts are believed to be the consequence of a skin disorder virus called human papilloma virus, or 'hpv'.
The mole usually is a birth condition or because of sun rays and exposure to ultraviolet rays.
The moles can be flat or raised, but the warts are almost always raised skin growths and have a cauliflower shape at the top.
They are not too big usually.
They are less then half an inch in height.
The moles can be pink, dark or skin colors.
The wart is usually darker, rich in color, protrude out of the skin and can be very disturbing for normal living.
Routines like shaving or wiping with a towel or even rub against clothing can be tough.
The mole need not exhibit any reaction for years and even remain without any pain or irritation.
The wart can be shinny and the cauliflower may appear like a blister as well.
Moles do not shine at all nor cracked.
Moles may have hairs growing out of them but not the warts.
Warts are caused by virus so there is change it can infect others by direct contact and also through hereditary genes.
It is odd that moles stay with you for ever during your life whereas the warts may sometimes just fall off, no one knows when or how or even why for certain.
Of course doctors do have some theories about it.
No one knows except that warts seem to have a life cycle or span and some are short lived while others long lived.
Now moles can remain as I said earlier harmless and painless for years, where as the warts is a different story.
They can develop pain.
Irritation and can interfere through your daily routines and type of clothing.
There are several remedies to remove them.
All of them can be applied to both warts and moles.
There are laser therapies, the most expensive of all but the most effective as well.
Freezing them is often associated with mild to moderate pain.
It takes doctors to scrape off the dead tissue.
There are other radical surgeries that are traditionally done.
Cut it off surgically and stitch them up and it takes few weeks to completely heal and it is a hassle but again it is also very effective.
There are other home remedies form grandmas to herbal to over the counter products.
Some use the duct tape method by applying it over the area for a few weeks and scrape them off.
Others use aerosol cans of Freon to freeze and scrape the dead skin.
There are also vitamin c and salicylic acid to slowly burn it off.
My recommendation is please consult a certified physician or a dermatologist before you begin any home remedies.
Discuss the possibilities and cost associated as insurance does not cover cosmetic unless it is for life threatening reasons.
And then you may begin a course of treatment that best suits you.
