The light of the moon hides behind thick blankets of clouds; constantly moving past; The night seems to have a colder approach to the morning that lies ahead Keeping the night for as long as it can before the inevitable picture of perfection that you dream about is burnt through closed eyes, The bright orange balls seen by the closed eyes let you forget about the dream you were having; the perfection that was seen.
The comfort of darkness that had arrived with the night to allow you to drift into the dreamland you wish was reality has left taking with it the thick blankets of security that saved you from the harsh reality of life after the darkness that allows you to momentarily forget about the moments of hopelessness that you face under the light of the sun.
The light which shows every hidden part of your soul when you look at your self The light that reminds you of all that has happened and all that you fear is yet to come It scares you the ability of something so abstract that you have trouble understanding why the light scares you so much.
It's the darkness that is said to hide the demons we all fear and yet being able to be under the protection of the light is harder than to last through the long dark nights hidden in the darkest corner as to not be able to catch a glimpse of what has made the day light such an unwelcomed thought.

The feeling of being watched is one that we paranoid ourselves with We are hiding, hiding beneath the darkness and under the blankets that we believe can protect us from the world while we forget that the one thing we do need protecting from is us.
No one can harm or judge us as harshly as we judge ourselves.
The protection we require is not from what the light will let other see of us but what we will see in ourselves underneath the light where we are able to see every move we had ever made.
