Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder - OCD and the Fear of Hurting Someone and Actually Doing It
I just want to make clear right now that the fear of hurting someone is a common characteristic of OCD.
Actually hurting someone is far beyond the realm of OCD and that person that actually hurts someone or other living things should be treated in a mental health facility where they cannot be released until they are better.
These psychology's are far beyond the scope of this article.
So if you actually fear that you are going to hurt someone and the thought really scares you, seek medical help so that you don't actually do something like that.
The consequences of doing it are exponentially worse than if you are only thinking about it.

If you are really afraid that you are going to hurt someone and your therapist or doctor thinks that it's OCD, then you don't have to worry.
