Mobile Phone Price Wars
Mobile phone prices began to drop in the advent of the smartphone back in 2007 when Apple launched their first IPhone. This has been the case with Samsung mobile prices, which are constantly being adjusted every morning. Since Nokia lost its strong market hold in the late 2Oth century, they have been keen in adjusting their mobile prices every now and then to maintain their loyal customers. IPhone mobile prices on the other hand have been relatively constant since the launch of the first IPhone back in 2007. Other silent players like LG, HTC, Black Berry, Motorola and Ericsson, have been playing in the background and just maintaining their mobile phone prices accordingly to meet their customers' needs.
Apparently, since most of the mobile phone manufacturers offer almost the same services, it all simmers down to price wars:
Nokia mobile prices
As far as this Finnish based manufacturer is concerned, their mobile prices are not that steep for the ordinary consumer as most of their devices lost the price war when the first smartphone hit the stores and more so the Android technology. Well, that is until when they launched the Nokia Lumia 920 which sells for a whooping 830 US dollars and runs on a Windows operating system. However, Nokia mobile prices and moreover, Symbian-based technologies are deemed to diminish with emerging technologies.
Samsung mobile prices
Termed the current number one mobile manufacturer, this South Korean mobile giant gets a 'like' every time someone purchases their product. Since they dumped the Bada platform for Android, their devices have been selling like hot cake especially due to their affordable pricing. Their products continue to depreciate in value as they launch more and more mobile phone devices and accessories. Currently the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the flagship device for Samsung retailing at 520 US dollars. With the anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 just around the corner, the mobile world is already rocking with price adjustments as most are anticipated to drop even further. Samsung mobile prices have also been termed to be the most pocket friendly by numerous reviewers and users since the Android take over.
IPhone mobile prices
From the American mobile giant, Apple's IPhones are still synonymous to the Native American population, however, the giant is still laying foundations to make the IPhone a global brand. The current IPhone 5 is termed the most advanced mobile device yet and goes for 820 US dollars.
