How to Put Videos on an iPod Nano from LimeWire
- 1). Open Windows Movie Maker. Click "File," "Import" and choose the video you downloaded from LimeWire. The exact location of the video is going to depend on where you set the LimeWire content to download to. The video appears in a library along the side of the Windows Movie Maker screen.
- 2). Click-and-drag the movie from the library down into the timeline of the editing program. This selects the video and you can see the movie in a display screen at the top of the program.
- 3). Select "File," then "Save movie as." A browse window will appear. Title the video, select a location to save the video to, then click the format pull-down option. Choose "MP4" (MPEG-4) and click "Save." The video file is now saved as the MP4 video format.
- 4). Launch iTunes and click the "Movies" tab in the upper-left corner of the program window. Click-and-drag the MP4 video you just created into the open window (along with the other videos you can upload to your iPod).
- 5). Plug the USB cable into the power port on the bottom of the iPod Nano, then connect the opposite end of the cable into one of the USB ports on your computer. iTunes automatically detects the device and brings up the iPod information in the display screen.
- 6). Click the "Movies" tab under your iPod display and check off the box next to the MP4 video you imported. Click "Sync" in the lower-right corner of the screen and click "OK." The MP4 video file from LimeWire is now uploaded onto your iPod Nano.
