About the Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Each summer, the Lincoln Park Zoo puts on its Jammin' at the Zoo concert series, which features bands once a month in June, July, and August. Held on the zoo’s Main Mall, Jammin’ at the Zoo is a chance for Chicagoans and visitors to enjoy outdoor fun and music while the zoo's animals are just steps away. Update to the 2013 season: There will be no concert in August.


Location for Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Jammin' at the Zoo takes places on the Lincoln Park Zoo's South Lawn. (Guests are encouraged to bring a small blanket or chair for comfort.) The Lincoln Park Zoo is located at Cannon Drive and Fullerton Parkway in Chicago. Parking is available on the street, or you can take public transit. The 151 and 36 buses drop off and pick up in front of the zoo's entrance on Cannon.

Dates and Times for Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Dates for the Jammin' at the Zoo 2013 concert series include June 22 and July 26. There is no August concert this year. Food at Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Snacks are offered at the zoo’s Park Place Café, and beer and wine are also be available for purchase for those 21 years and older. Coolers and outside food and drinks are not permitted into the event.

Tickets to the Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Tickets go on sale June 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $23 adults (advance sales) and $12 for children (ages 4-12). Tickets at the gate (if available) are $28 adults and $14 children. Lincoln Park Zoo members receive a $2 discount, and there is also a discount for anyone who buys tickets to all three concerts. You can buy Jammin' at the Zoo tickets online, by phone at 312-742-2283, or in person at the zoo’s Gateway Pavilion. Proceeds from Jammin’ at the Zoo "help keep Lincoln Park Zoo free and open to everyone 365 days per year."

Getting to Jammin' at the Zoo 2013:

Street parking is available on Cannon Drive and also in the Lincoln Park Zoo lot, which is at Cannon Drive and Fullerton Parkway. You can also take CTA buses 151 or 156 to Stockton and Webster.
