    • 1). Click on the "Start" button and then click on the "Control Panel" option. Once the control panel opens, click on the "Delta Control Panel" option that appears. Do not click on the normal "Audio" option because you will not get to the same menu and will not be able to change the settings of your card.

    • 2). Connect your microphone to one of the mixer inputs on the back of the Delta 1010LT. Once it is connected, speak into the microphone, and you will see the levels on one of the mixer inputs move up and down. Click on the "Mute" buttons under this mixer to unmute the channel and listen to the audio.

    • 3). Click on the sliders on the left or right side of the mixer input your microphone is connected to in order to adjust the volume for each side of your stereo speaker system. You can decrease the volume all the way on the right side of the mixer in order to hear the microphone from only the left side of the speakers.

    • 4). Continue to use the microphone for its purpose -- recording or live broadcast. When you want to pan to the right, pull the slider all the way down on the left side of the mixer input and pull the right slider all the way up to move the sound from the left to right speakers.

    • 5). Move both sliders up to their original positions to pan the vocals back to the middle so that the sound from your microphone will be heard from both speakers simultaneously.
