Pony Bead Craft Ideas

Plastic pony beads are both kid-friendly and inexpensive. Some people use them to decorate their hair, but you can also use them for crafts. Since they come in a variety of colors, including pastels and even shiny gold or silver, you can use them to fit almost any color scheme for any craft you want. - Plastic--when heated--is a pliable material, which means you can mold it into almost anything you want. Since melted plastic emits potentially toxic fumes, set up a toaster oven outside on a table in a well-ventilated area, then set it to 400 degrees F. Put tin cookie cutters on a cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil, then fill the center of the cookie cutter with pony beads. Place the beads in the cookie cutter so that the holes face up, then bake the beads for about 20 minutes. Take them out of the oven and let them cool before touching. Then pop them out of the cookie cutter and onto a table. Use fabric paint to decorate your magnet and then add a craft magnet to the back with hot glue.
