After-Prom Ideas for Indianapolis, Indiana
- Enjoy a drive or ride around downtown and take in the scenery by night. If you and your friends rent a limo, being driven around Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis can be a nice ending to a magical night.
Also, downtown offers horse-drawn carriage rides through Yellow Rose Carriages and Blue Ribbon Carriage Company. The carriage rides are available until midnight and 1 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and can be reserved for special events if ordered in advance. - Jillian's is a vast playhouse that offers bowling, a huge arcade, food and other activities. Check times and days for special events. Call ahead seating and reservations are welcomed as they host parties and offer group rates and special rooms (if needed). Friday and Saturday hours are until 2 a.m., giving you plenty of time to celebrate after prom.
Pinheads Bowling Alley offers cosmic bowling, food and regular bowling. Reservations and group events are also welcome. Pinheads is open until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Dave and Buster's offer an arcade, food and games. They host group events and parties and are open until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Great Times is a fun place for miniature golf, go-carts, games and snacks. They can offer post-prom lock-in parties, when arranged in advance. - Walking the Canal and White River State Park can be a great way to end prom night. The Monon Trail is another great connecting trail through the city that offers a huge concrete walk-way through Indianapolis. The nice aspect of the Monon Trail is that it can be accessed almost anywhere in the city. The Canal is only located downtown.
- If you're at a loss for ideas for activities to do after prom, pick up a "Nuvo" newspaper, "MetroMix" newspaper, "The Word" newspaper or any local newspaper or news magazine. These papers are placed in almost every grocery store, local shop or street corner.
