Choose Your Seats With Indigo Web Check in Option
PNR Status of your Indigo flight
The Indigo PNR status can be checked online and you will see this on the ticket. The PNR is what you must use when you look up your reservation on the Indigo website while trying to retrieve the same. Mostly, the site will ask for your PNR and your surname and the entire itinerary will come up on the website when you key this in. The PNR status provided by Indigo Airlines is unique for every traveler and is system generated and therefore, there is no room for error in the same.
You could also just show this PNR at the Indigo counter at the airport and the ground staff at the counter should be able to retrieve the itinerary and assign you a seat if you have not already done your seat reservation. In case you have luggage to be checked in and have not been able to do a web check in, then you will pass on your cabin luggage to the ground staff and then collect your boarding pass. In case you have booked your ticket in the last minute and have not had time to print out the same, then you can still use this PNR either on your SMS received or on your mail ID to get your seat booking done. You can give your seat preference and the Indigo staff at the counter will be able to assist you.
The PNR is the code that you will need to use in case of doing Indigo Web Check in. This is easier and simpler than waiting for your turn at the counter and booking your seat. It is always true that the web check in queues at the airport are much shorter than the normal check in queues, as generally travelers have luggage and need to check in their cabin luggage. You can also reach the airport a little late if you have a web check in done as against going to the airport and doing a normal check in as you save the time to check in.
Web check-in - how and why?
The web check-in feature is a great one to have, as it is very ideal for business passengers, who make day trips and have no cabin baggage. The hand baggage that they have must also be small and must conform to the standards that are being set by Indigo to proceed with this option. The first step to do a web check-in is to type your PNR and your last name. The entire itinerary gets picked up and you will be asked to choose a seat. You can choose your seat either in the front or at the back, either the aisle or the window. This helps in getting you your preferred seat as well as beating the crowd at the airport counters. So, if you are flying light, then you must do an Indigo Web check in.
