What does it mean to be without guile? {To be without deception, calculation, assumption, expectation, preference, and disguise} There have been those who walked among us that these idealistic traits were embedded and exemplified Masters who possessed no pretense but were totally
indifferent and unmoved by emotional outcomes. "...Let the dead bury the dead; come follow the living..." (Paraphrased) Learning how to remember to be totally indifferent to the results of your personal efforts, whether it be in areas of relationships, money making, friendship, family, personal endeavors, career, academic achievements, and/or fame and fortune is probably the most exalted state one could hope to attain in this earth walk.
To be not moved nor dismayed by the ups and downs involved with this turbulent jostling journey involves a quiet resolve attained through a deep conviction of knowing that everything happens for a divine reason which can not be interpreted or explained. Acceptance is the key word to be employed. If one but come to terms with the realization that events are totally impersonal, having nothing whatsoever to do with your personal input, great strides in peaceful resolution would be obtained. All resolute talent lies beneath striving.
To simply enjoy the various experiences without comment or display requires a leap in consciousness few people are willing to make. Why? Because the perilous jump involves crossing over and leaving behind the abyss of personal cherished illusions that act as the glue that hold a person's world together. People want to believe that what they do makes a difference. They need to know they are in some way important, unique and special. {That the other person needs him/her to fulfill life or to be happy.} Not so. You are resolved within yourself and carry that completeness where ever you go. You can not add or take away from another. You can only join and share who you are not what you have. Having an indifferent motive is non-negotiably honorable.Indifference is true Honor. To be honorable is another clear definition of being guileless. Honor is authentically liberating. Being ever mindful to observe yourself in the reacting to circumstances which you believe you caused to exist will reveal the level of embedded guile you possess.
These circumstances will most certainly involve flattery, indebtedness or admiration. Observation of oneself is a necessary tool to forge a path of ruthless honor. Guilelessness does not pay homage to anyone or anything.
In addition, govern your need to be right, appreciated, recognized, or praised! Bind your tongue from personal response in sweet talk, support, comment and/or condemnation. Seek to EMBRACE THE DAY without as much as a feather's alteration of it. When you do encounter what seems to be an obstacle or barrier, simply give no resistance. Flow without battling. Do not worry nor grow concerned if something appears to be late or 'not exactly right' in the chaotic events. They transpire for reasons far beyond your present vision and insight. Do not argue or contend thinking there is a more correct action to take. This unadulterated movement involves all legal matters, as well. In Whatever Unsavory Manner the event presents itself, follow the governing path.
At all times, be up and about thy soul's business and not involved with the affairs of men. What does this statement refer to, exactly? Your soul's actions appear foolish to the sight of others. You will, IF you follow the inner tuning of your gut, do some pretty outrageous things, not to be explained, defended or excused. Turn a deaf ear to all those who are supposedly 'in the position to know' regarding your present actions. They are, in fact, blinded and ignorant except it be in their own grievous self-interest to beset you in your undetermined plight.
Be resilient and firm in thy dealings but flexible enough to turn on a dime without warning or recall. Eliminate the small talk when conducting business. Another superimposed dimension, where all elevated consciousness resides, that you are inadvertently unaware of, beckons your attention. But, you can not hear the voice of the 'still small voice' if it is crowded out by the self-seeking interests of others. You can only become minimally aware of it by reflecting on the sacred sensual conditions and stirrings located in your own body. These may be construed as sexual in nature, but they are far more sublime in content.You are an artist in search of his/her sanctified art. Indifference conceals the momentous celestial gift. Seek more movement and more light to illuminate your present sphere of activity. This sacred knowledge has, as of yet, not become a basic part of your present excavation. The
sensual swirling from your feet upward will resister as contentment without explanation. {An unmistakable warmth in your bosom will bear witness to its fervent swirling sensation.} It will never usurp authority but by your invitation will it make its artistic presence known. To try to speak of it's ineffably glory would not only be pointless and stupid but vain, as well.
In order to embrace the day's experience in honor, you must offer no barriers whatsoever. Do only those things that arise. No more than is natural and convenient at any time, any where for anyone! Any undue hurry, agitated concern, or pressure is the basis for abandoning the project at that time. Remove yourself and your worrisome energy from the premises. Stay in contact with your inner state of repose. If at any time, you see yourself becoming restless and annoyed take time to recompose. Remember: You are NEVER in control of anything!!! The moment you begin to think otherwise, you have moved into the land of superficiality at its highest. Cease with any reference to knowing what is best. You don't know. Do not proceed in haste, accelerated excitement or fanciful vain imaginings. Stop with pertinent cries of: "It's finally happening." It has been happening all the while. You may not have been privy to the celestial seam that was being sewn on your behalf; but the hallowed garment has been being stitched all along..
Work diligently with your soul's purpose and for no vainglory success attached to it. Be exceedingly glad just to be a part of the show. Immense and astounding events are forthcoming in your physical world, as you become more honorable for you to witness but in actuality have been all around you. Your earth eyes are simply not attuned to that particular frequency of light. Stand ever more firmly like a huge old tree planted by the water. It would be easy to get caught up in all the frenzied excitement and glamor of what is to come but stand solid and unmoved. You are not fickle and transparent. Do not become so now. Smile gently, while all the time inwardly and silently repeating, "All is well with me." To remain unfettered will take enormous restraint not to be carried away by meaningless adoration. Call up all of your committed effort and attention to see through the attempts and distractions in the run of a day to placate yourself. To see the task at hand realized and actualized
demands that you be ever more vigilant in thy devoted purpose. Music remains paramount, all else follows the music. Every word uttered from your mouth is music. Music will have no mistress. Do not forget this. It is in your own insistence to try to MAKE things happen that difficulties arise.
Things are occurring now that you don't have a mind or heart to comprehend. Do your work without your committed and repeated need to interfere or speed things along. Make certain to FOLLOW things through precisely as stated from within the boundaries of your own heart. Remove yourself from the erroneous thought that ANYTHING that you ever do or from the seemingly results in work of thy own hands is of personal measure; untrue, false and blasphemous. You are a vessel from which all bountiful joy and serenity flows. You are a conduit for celestial energy. In no manner are you ever to conceive or believe that you are responsible for the results or the manifestations upon the earth plane.
A marvelous honorable work of wonder is wrought in you every moment you breathe. You shall see the music, drama and art rise in you as a magnificent mountain to be scaled again and again. Become less interested in the seeing of monetary return on any venture and more involved in the process of allowing it to flow through you like water in a stream. Become more seductively sexual in every transaction. No obstruction is too great for water to flow around, over or through. Seek the guileless water in all things for the water always seeks it own level. Thereto are you to do like wise.
