eBay Products to Sell? From Where?

103 54
Hi Again.
This is really a follow up of my previous article called "Marketing on eBay is a Science or is it? I do hope by now that you can realize running a business on eBay it is a SKILL not a Science.
And a skill can be LEARNED.
I say that purely because eBay has everything setup for you.
(eg.
World wide platform for selling, receive payment system(Very important)).
Full range of service backup facilities etc.
I want to pickup on the eBay source, after all that's what this article is about.
You can sell anything on eBay, and I do mean Anything! The biggest (and heaviest) item I ever sold on eBay was a large "Hunter wood burning stove" It was made of solid cast iron and it took four of us to lift it on to the van.
You could see the springs of the van "sink" as the stove got loaded.
Also it sold so fast it was not even removed from my house installation when it sold.
Small Home Business (eBay is a good starting point) Many people across the world dream of having their own small home business where goods are shipped to them and they combine them into little packages and resell them for profit.
For most, this dream ends unfounded and unrealized, but for many, they capitalize on it and eventually make a lot of money.
So what's the secret to starting your own home business where most of the work is done for you? Simple, you need an online wholesaler.
Finding a reliable and well-managed online wholesaler is a difficult task.
There are hundreds of places boasting that they're the only real wholesaler with reasonable prices and fast shipping, the problem is that a lot of these are sub-par and eventually die out.
To find a long-lasting and exceptional wholesaler, you really have to look hard.
Once you find one, selling your product is easy.
All you have to do is make a website, use eBay, get others to sell it, or any other possible way.
Wholesalers don't have to be hard to find.
Wholesalers of all kinds, for example: Jewelery wholesalers, electronic wholesalers and even computer wholesalers are usually a nightmare to find over search engines such as Google.
With all the costs involved with running a retail eBay or e-commerce business you need a directory of some kind to source good products to sell.
For many people, driving 100 miles to view a suppliers stock is a major inconvenience but it is a fact that this is what buyers have regularly had to do.
Entrepreneurs new to the game sometimes fear speaking to wholesale traders because they think they will only deal with established, large retailers.
Many of the wholesaler's clients do not want the public knowing the prices they buy their stock for so they make sure only the trade know by using various means.
We know from experience that one of the main reasons people don't succeed in buying/selling stock is because they don't (for whatever reason) take the time to visit wholesale suppliers in order to locate suitable products to sell.
By their very nature, almost all wholesalers will state they are for 'trade only', but if you plan to buy stock and sell it on, you are technically a trader - you don't need to have a limited company behind you to be eligible.
Please read that last sentence again it is so important.
In this terrible "Credit Crunch" times we are living in, most trade wholesalers are only to happy to make Sales to anyone.
Not too much picking and choosing goes on.
At the end of the day a sale is a sale.
Goods.
Most wholesalers will sell goods to you without proof of being 'in the trade', but some may ask or request evidence that you are not just going to make use of the products for your own personal use.
Finding Wholesalers by yourself (Difficult) This is inevitably the first step that most new business owners will try.
They decide that they are smarter than the thousands of people that came before them, and instead of taking the bus, they try to re-invent the wheel.
While many of them may actually get to the point where they find a respectable wholesaler, it will take a lot of time and money.
When all along they could have taken a faster and more direct approach by just paying the bus fare and taking it to their destination.
So hopefully this has you wondering where you can find one of these buses.
Well these buses are wholesale supplier's directories, which are very hard to come by on the internet.
You can't just go to any directory either, you want one that is well made and allows communication between users.
A good directory allows users to rate and review each wholesaler so that others know what they are getting into.
Hopefully by now you realize that it would be a bad idea to try and do this all on your own.
You're going to want to find a well established company that can provide you with the information you need.
Don't try to re-invent the wheel, just pay the minuscule fare and jump on the bus to success.
There are a bunch of directories that you can go to and try and find reliable wholesalers, the problem is that many of these are poorly made and won't get you what you want.
I can only pass on my experience and sources to help you in you endeavors to be a successful eBay or other platform trader.
Regards.
