The main problem is that many of us have lived from paycheck to paycheck, leaving little or no money to invest in their financial security, let alone a business venture.
And this was me...
I actually was not only living paycheck to paycheck and supporting a family of three most of my adult life, but there were many occasions where I actually had to slide checks to put food on the table.
And business startup costs on a franchise? Forget it! We're all caught up in life's "rat race"...
Even if by some miracle someone had dropped ten thousand bucks in my lap, what time did I have to devote to it? I was working after hours as a housekeeper in addition to my 7:30-4 job...

Will social security even be there by the time I'm 67? And the amount that might be allocated won't even pay my mortgage! My husband is disabled and will have used up all of his social security allocation by that time, even if it is still available.

even for a senior citizen like me! As with any business, it's important to make a commitment to get out of your comfort zone.
And anything that is new to you will have to drive you away from your comfort zone.
But think about; how "comfortable" is the idea of going to that same J-O-B ("just over broke") for the rest of your life until you die? Once I considered the alternative, I was determined to make something happen.
Initially, I got out of my comfort zone and started creating videos, and my daughter taught me how to rank them on Google to get "traffic".
The idea here, of course, is to get a lot of people to see my video and then click my link.
This was a technique I had spent a long time learning with my daughter's one-to-one training.
But then the Google panda hit and my daughter moved away.
And then my leads started diminishing.
What now? Sometimes you just have to be determined to do what it takes to learn something new.
So I started all over again, and this time I'm coming up stronger than ever in learning exactly how an online business really is an easy business to start.
Turns out...
I was making it way too complicated! It was actually a blessing that my daughter moved away and I was forced to learn how to market online through the use of the training videos, because it's an easier way to learn when you can stop the video, and watch it again until you get it.
And then just go and implement what you learn! Once you can get past the technical stuff on your own, your on your way to discovering an easy business to start with very little cash outlay.
