Boiling applies mostly to essences that come from trees.
Here, thet wigs bearing flowers are boiled in water for an hour and left to cool off.
The twigs are then thrown away and the mixture preserved in brandy.
In potentization, the flowers are picked at the blossoming stage and put in containers of distilled water for at least three hours.
They are then discarded and the essence-water mixture preserved in brandy.
There is one general formula for preparing Bach flower mixtures.
Fill an empty dropper (1 oz) halfway with filtered water.
Spring water works just as well.
Add two drops from each of the essence you wish to use and a teaspoon of brandy or apple cider vinegar.
The latter acts as a preservative and ensures that your mixture can last through the recommended period of time.
Although Bach flower mixtures do not have any negative side effects, it is advisable not to mix more than 7 different essences at a go.
Take a minimum of four drops a day, 4 or more times.
