How to Do Slow Roll Wheelies
- 1). Put the bike in the lowest gear and accelerate smoothly while pulling up on the handlebars. Smooth acceleration helps stabilize the bike and allows it to "go wheelie."
- 2). Crank the bike into a higher gear, then increase the throttle while pulling in the clutch. As the front wheel lifts, release the clutch slowly while accelerating lightly. Do not roll or decelerate when doing a wheelie: it is much easier to do at a constant speed.
- 3). Lean back on the seat as far as possible until the bike is nearly upright, while maintaining a consistent application of the gas pedal. If you start to wobble, quickly shift your weight to the side that is wobbling to counterbalance the lean of the bike.
