How to Convert Lotus 1-2-3 to OpenOffice

    • 1). Open Calc by double-clicking the OpenOffice icon on your desktop. Then click the "Spreadsheet" button to open Calc.

    • 2). Load the Lotus 1-2-3 file by dropping down the "File" menu and selecting "Open." Drop down the "Files of type" menu in the Open dialog box and select "Lotus 1-2-3" in the spreadsheet file section. Navigate to your 1-2-3 file, select it, and click "Open." The 1-2-3 file appears in Calc.

    • 3). Save the spreadsheet as an OpenOffice Calc file by dropping down the "File" menu and selecting "Save As." In the "Save as type" field, "ODF Spreadsheet" is entered by default; leave this setting as it is. Navigate to where you want to save the Calc file and click "Save."
