The monument is beautiful crafted using the world's finest marble, which looks ethereal under the light of the moon. Beautifully manicured gardens and gorgeous waters of the Yamuna add to its appeal. Varanasi is one of the most spiritually charged places in the world. The seat of Hindu religious belief and home to a number of pilgrimage sites, this colourful vibrant city is a true reflection of Indian spirituality. If you were to pick two big cities that are a must-visit when in India, travel to Jaipur and Delhi. Jaipur or the ‘pink city' is the capital of Rajasthan. This city is frequented by tourists because it is home to some of the country's best preserved forts and palaces. The Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and the City Palace are three iconic monuments which are included in all North India travel packages.

Delhi, of course, presents a completely different side of India. This modern city is at the forefront of globalization, has a thriving urban populous and urban infrastructure. It has a bustling highlife and culinary scene. One can spend hours walking around Khan Market or Hauz Khas buying clothing, accessories and souvenirs.

Just travelling to these five destinations will take about a fortnight! But you will surely leave with a rich cultural experience and fond memories.
