    Ceremony

    • 1). Cut strips of black tulle to make pew bows. Tie the tulle into large bows. Cut the bow's tails to your desired length with sharp scissors. Thread black ribbon through the back of the bow's knot. Tie the ribbon's cut ends together. Tie the ribbon around poles or hang on pew hangers.

    • 2). Make black tulle ballet skirts for the bridal party by sewing tulle to black elastic waist bands. Lay the top of the tulle out over the elastic band. Bunch the tulle up every few inches as you sew the tulle to the top of the elastic band. Layer the tulle around the band until the skirt is full. Embellish the skirt by sewing or hot gluing spiders charms or dark red roses to the tulle.

    • 3). Create the base for a gothic bouquet with tulle. Hot glue black, gray, red or purple tulle around the base of the bouquet holder. Tuft the tulle as you glue it around the base. Fill the bouquet holder with black or blood red flowers.

    • 4). Add black tulle to the corsages and boutonnieres. Hot glue a small bunch of black, gray, red or purple tulle around the centerpiece flower. Attach the boutonniere to the man's lapel with a black straight pin.

    Reception

    • 1). Hang black, gray, red or purple floor length curtains over windows. Drape black tulle over the top of the curtain in a scallop motion. Allow the long ends of the tulle to drape on both sides of the curtain down to the floor.

    • 2). Cover the reception hall tables with black, gray red or purple floor length tablecloths. Create tulle runners by cutting two pieces of tulle that are as long as the tablecloth. Place the tulle over the tablecloth in a cross pattern. Set macabre centerpieces in the center of the table where the tulle meets. Arrange black candelabras, black or red flowers in vases, skulls or fruit like pomegranates, grapes and figs as the centerpieces.

    • 3). Cover the food tables with floor length black, gray, red or purple tablecloths. Drape tulle in the front of the table in a scallop. Attach pew bows or black or red flowers to the tulle drape. Cut rounds of black, red or purple tulle to a few inches larger than the food trays. Bunch the tulle together in the center so it creates a tufted effect. Set the tulle rounds on the table then set the food trays on top of them.

    • 4). Create candle favors to give to guests by setting gothic style candles into the center of a round of tulle. Pull the sides of the tulle around the candle. Tie the tulle together at the top with a black, gray, purple or red ribbon. Tie a small tag to the ribbon with the couple's names, wedding date and a personal message.

    • 5). Make sachets to give as gifts to bridesmaids or guests by first pulling the petals off of dried roses. Place the petals in a bowl. Perfume the petals with two to three drops of essential oil of lavender or vanilla. Mix the petals up with your hands. Place small handfuls of petals into the center of tulle rounds or into tulle bags. Pull the tulle around the petals. Tie the tulle with ribbon. Tie a small tag to the ribbon with the couple's names, wedding date and a personal message.
