For the person who is obese, there are very many serious threats to health and total well being. The expenses to society in the US is incredible and draws near several hundred billion dollars yearly. Needless to say much less is spent for weight loss products, but it continues to be in the billions annually. The US continues to be slowly gaining more weight with each passing year, or so it seems.
