    Web-ready Plasma

    • 1). Press "Menu" on the Plasma to open its menu. Scroll to "Internet," then "Wireless." The exact method varies based on the TV's make and model; each manufacturer sets up its own proprietary interface with its own menu options and buttons. Consult your TV's manual or manufacturer for specific instructions on accessing your Web TV's wireless Internet options.

    • 2). Select your Wi-Fi network from the list using your remote.

    • 3). Enter your wireless security password if prompted using the remote and on-screen keyboard. Click "Connect" to connect the device to your Wi-Fi.

    Non-Web-ready Plasma

    • 1). Purchase a computer, gaming console or media box with Wi-Fi capability, such as Roku (roku.com), the Wii gaming console (nintendo.com) or Windows PC. The device, once connected to your plasma, will allow you to access the Internet on your television.

    • 2). Connect the device to your TV. Use an HDMI cable if the device offers HDMI, otherwise use whichever video cable the device supports, such as component or composite. Connect the cables to the back of the device, then connect the other end to your TV. Turn on the device.

    • 3). Press the "Mode" button on your TV until the device's video feed appears.

    • 4). Open the device's Wi-Fi settings. On a computer running Windows, click the wireless icon in the task bar and select your wireless network. Enter the Wi-Fi security key if necessary, then click "Connect." If you're using the Roku Box, an on-screen Wi-Fi setup menu will appear. Follow the prompts to connect the box to your Wi-Fi. For the Nintendo Wii, click "Wii Options" on the bottom left side of the screen, then "Settings." Click the right arrow to scroll to the second page. Click "Internet." Select "Connection Settings." Click "Connection 1," then "Wireless Connection." Select your Wi-Fi connection. Enter the network's pass code if necessary, then click "Connect."
