How to Tell If I Have a Celeron Chip in My System
- 1). Turn on your computer. Press the delete key every second, immediately after you turn on your computer. Sometimes you have to press F1. The process varies with manufacturers. This will take you to the BIOS main menu.
- 2). Select the "Advanced Chipset Features" on the main menu of BIOS. Now choose the "CPU Multiplier."
- 3). Look on the top part of the screen. You should see the name of the processor you are using in this screen. If you have a Celeron processor, it will say Celeron and then list the speed that the processor is clocked at on the right side.
