The wiper motor is an electrical engine, so power must first be removed. Achieve this by detaching the negative cable from the battery. It can be removed by loosening the clamp. Once the cable has been removed, secure it away from the negative post. - 2

Remove the wiper arms by using a wrench to remove the nut from the wiper shaft, then hold the wiper arm and rock it back and forth until it releases from the shaft. - 4

Remove the cowl cover from the car by pulling the weatherstripping from the front of the cowl, then pulling out the pollen filter cover. Once the pollen filter cover is removed, simply release the clips at each side of the cowl cover where it meets the fender, and pull it up and off of the car. - 5

There will be two wiper linkage mounting bolts holding the wiper motor in place. Using your wrench, remove both bolts. - 6). Gently pull the assembly out, disconnecting the electrical connectors and unbolting the motor from the linkage.
- 7). Installation is the reverse of removal.
