How to Make a Small Gift Box
- 1). Cut a greeting card in half at the fold line and set the card front to the side for later use.
- 2). Fold each of the four sides of the card in to meet the center of the paper. Crease the folds slightly and then unfold them.
- 3). Cut four slits into the paper. Start at the outside edge of the paper and cut only to the edge of the folded square in the center.
- 4). Fold the four tabs up and into the box. Fold the sides up and over the tabs and adhere the sides to the inside of the box using double-sided tape.
- 5). Take out the card front and lay it flat on the workspace with the design facing down.
- 6). Fold each side of the card in to meet near the center of the page, leaving a quarter inch gap between them. Unfold the card.
- 7). Cut four slits into the paper along the creases created when folding. Cut only to the edge of the center square.
- 8). Fold the tabs inward and then fold the sides over the tabs and adhere to the inside of the box lid using double-sided tape. Place the lid securely over the bottom box.
