How to Make a Smoker Tin for Grilling
- 1). Soak your wood chips in a bowl of water for 30 minutes before grilling. This keeps the wood chips from catching fire.
- 2). Tear off a long piece of aluminum foil.
- 3). Place a cup of wood chips in the middle of the piece of tinfoil.
- 4). Fold the ends of the tinfoil together and fold up toward the middle to make a pouch. It should look a bit like a wrapped potato.
- 5). Turn the pouch over and poke a few holes in the top.
- 6). Place the pouch over a burner shield at the base of your grill. Fire the grill up and cook away.
