Basic Shape

• Cut out two pieces of white fabric in the shape that you desire. See the image in the "Resources" section for a guide. Each piece of fabric should be about 1 yard long and 12 inches wide at the widest part of the wing.
  Hem each wing all the way around, leaving an opening of about 1 inch. Thread some thin wire through the hems of the wings, making sure that it comes all the way around. Twist the two ends of the wire together and hand sew or hot glue the opening closed.
  
  

Connecting the Wings

• Attach the two wings together by cutting a piece of elastic that is 9 inches long. Hot glue or sew the ends of the elastic to either wing.
  Cut two more pieces of elastic that are each about 26 inches long. Bring the ends of the elastic pieces together, forming two rings of elastic. Hot glue or sew each ring of elastic directly under each end of the 9 inch elastic piece mentioned earlier. You will put your arms through these rings to wear the wings.
  
  

Embellishment

• Buy fake white feathers from a craft store, or make your own feathers by cutting out pieces of white fabric in the shape of feathers and fraying the edges.
  Sew or hot glue the feathers all over the wings, making sure the tips of the feathers are facing down.
  To add a little more pizazz, glue glitter all over the wings to give them a heavenly glow. You can also outline the wings in gold tinsel.
