The Global Warming Alarmists Just Will Not Stop Manipulating Research in the Media
The political push propagated by Global Warming Alarmists never stops I tell you.
Regardless of the finding of any research, the AGW fanatical immediately hijack the information and twist the facts, apply their own terminology and then place their viewpoints into the media using leading statements to bend the minds of the masses.
Personally, I'm just getting sick of it all, it's like you can't reason with them, they won't listen, and these global warming alarmists just keep marching forward.
How about the latest case in point? There was an interesting piece in the Huffington Post recently titled; "Richard Muller, Global Warming Skeptic, Now Agrees Climate Change Is Real," posted on October 30, 2011, yes on the day before Halloween, and it seems the author, Seth Borenstein wants to continue to spook the masses into the this notion of Global Warming; Boo! Unfortunately, this type of reporting does nothing more than hijack science in the mass-media because it confuses people.
Now then, let's set the record straight, the term Global Warming, has come to mean by definition that; "the planet is heating up due to mankind's CO2 output" - as that is what the Global Warming and AGW crowd defines it as.
However, Richard Muller PhD from Berkeley, made no mention of CO2 output as the culprit, only that the Earth's surface was exactly 1.
6 degrees warmer today, than it was in 1950.
Yes, I trust his data, he's an honorable scientist.
Okay so, to his findings, I'd like to say; "So What?" That is insignificant, nothing to be "alarmed about" and certainly not worth spending $100s of Billions worrying about, or any reason to modify absolutely everything about human society and human civilizations.
Big deal if the planet is 1.

I'd ask the media to stop using the term Global Warming, because those who've promoted it have defined that word to mean that the planet is heating up due to mankind's CO2 output, which is absolute bull.

This insignificant amount of warming, at the surface, is so irrelevant, one has to ask what is the point in all of this, why are the Global Warming Alarmists hijacking all the research regardless of the finding and blowing it out of proportion in the media? Simple, they have an agenda.
Now then, mitigating the amount of greenhouse gas waste that mankind is responsible for is wise, since we all have to breathe the air, so, yes, by all means reduce pollution in the air where ever you can.
But all this doom-and-gloom nonsense and re-labeling of scientific data for political or purely socialist left-leaning agendas is wrong, and it is disgusting, and it is making a mockery out of human science.
Let's look at the facts, the data, the real data, not manipulated surveys, numbers, or careful use of statistics to prove one-side or the other.
Let's be honest, and let's get the media out of it, along with all the folks who've taken Global Warming as a new religion, because neo-religious mindsets do not belong in climate science.
Thankfully, Richard Muller is one of the standouts, considers himself a skeptic, as do I, so let's not jump to conclusions of his findings, or what it means.
So far, all it means is that the surface temps of Earth (excluding the oceans) are 1.
6 degrees hotter than they were 61 years ago, surely we can live with that.
