Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse Installation Instructions
- 1). Click "Start" and input "services.msc" into the search bar. Press "Enter."
- 2). Scroll through the list of services and locate "Bluetooth Support." Double-click on it and a new window will appear.
- 3). Click on the "General" tab. Click "Start" if the service is not already started.
- 4). Click the "Startup type" drop-down box and select "Automatic."
- 5). Click on the "Log On" tab and select the "Local System account" value. Click "OK" to save your settings.
- 6). Close the "Services" window and restart your computer.
- 1). Turn the mouse over and find the "Connect" button on the bottom. Press the button once to place the mouse in "Discovery" mode. Note that the battery indication light will blink red and green when the mouse is in "Discovery" mode, if it has a light.
- 2). Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" on your computer. Select "Hardware and Sound," then select "Add a device" from the top left corner. The "Add a device" window will appear.
- 3). Select your mouse from the list of available devices and click "Next." Note that some devices only stay in "Discovery" mode for a limited time; you may need to place the mouse back in "Discovery" mode.
- 4). Wait while Windows automatically locates and installs the mouse drivers. Click "Close" when it is finished.
