Instep Rocket Assembly Instruction
- 1). Lift the sides cabin frame so that they stand vertically and remove the canopy cover which is stored inside. Reach into the trailer, grasp the crossbar at the top of the sling seat and lift it up. Each end of the crossbar has a black plastic connector which fits into a corresponding slot at the top of the cabin frame. Push each connector down until it clicks. Pull up on the crossbar to make sure it is secure.
- 2). Attach the canopy to the frame by lining up the snap connectors and pressing them firmly together. Do this one side at a time to ensure the canopy is properly aligned before connecting the remaining snaps at the sides and corners of the frame. The front and rear of the canopy are attached with hook and loop tape.
- 3). Rest the trailer on its back and remove the protective caps from the wheel axles. Open out the quick release lever and unscrew the wheel nuts a few turns until the axle is visible. Slide the wheel into the bracket slots on the side of the trailer ensuring the quick release lever is on the outside. Tighten the nuts then secure the wheel by pressing down on the quick release lever. Repeat the procedure for the other wheel.
- 4). Press down on the spring-loaded latch on the left side of the bottom of the frame to release the towbar. Attach the front wheel for use in stroller mode to the hole in the towbar. Rest the trailer on its wheels and clamp the handlebars to the back of the frame. Secure them using the lock knobs.
- 5). Remove the hub nuts from the rear wheel of your bicycle using the adjustable wrench and fit the supplied washer and coupler plate. Ensure the large hole of the coupler is directly below the axle. Replace the hub nuts. Insert the end of the trailer tow bar into the large hole in the base of the coupler and fasten the quick release pin. Remember to loop the safety strap around the bike frame before setting off.
