How to Insert a Picture Into a Video
- 1). Launch Windows Movie Maker (or iMovie if you use a Mac). Open the video of your choice from your hard drive.
- 2). Select the "Import Pictures" option from under the "Capture Video" heading in Windows Movie Maker and select an image from your hard drive. Click "Import." In iMovie, navigate to the "Media" tab at the bottom of the screen, then the "Photos" pane from the top of this tab to browse your iPhoto library for the image of your choice. Drop your image onto your movie's "Storyboard."
- 3). Drag your image along your movie's "Storyboard," determining its position on the "Timeline" according to where you want it to come up during your video. Hit the space bar to preview your video and ensure your photo is positioned as you want it.
- 4). Select "Save" from the file menu. Give your video and name and choose the format in which you'd like to save it from the drop-down menu. Click the "Save" button. Your video is ready to be viewed on your computer, burned to a DVD or uploaded to the Internet and shared.
