• The two-door SL and STD trims offered a 3-liter V6 engine which put out 222 horsepower and 217 foot-pounds of torque. The VR-4 Turbo AWD trim put out 320 horsepower and 315 foot-pounds of torque. A five-speed manual transmission came standard in the SL and STD with afour-speed automatic optional. The VR-4 Turbo offered a six-speed manual transmission.

• All three trims had a wheelbase of 97.2 inches and a length of 174.7 inches. Height of the SL and STD measured at 50.6 inches, with the VR-4 measuring slightly shorter at 49.3 inches. The 3000GT offers seating for four, with front and rear legroom measuring at 44.2 inches and 28.5 inches, respectively. Cargo room is nonexistent, though, in this two-door hatchback.

• Fuel economy for the 320-horsepower engine and the automatic transmission is estimated at 18 (city) and 24 (highway) mpg, while the standard six-speed manual, 222-horsepower engine is rated at 19 (city) and 25 (highway) mpg, according to MSN Autos.
