Numerous studies have been conducted in recent decades since artificial and synthetic sweeteners have swept over the diet industry. These studies have indeed proven that the substitute sweeteners that contain aspartame (Nutrasweet) or a synthetic sugar are not healthy for human consumption.  Aspartame sweeteners have been linked to thousands of adverse health reactions and the media is even warning people to the toxins that they contain. There are more known adverse effects associated with aspartame, in actuality there are 92 proven reactions from the chemical sweetener, however millions of people still continue to consume this sweetener without heed of the warnings that have been issued.
