Homemade Colon Cleanse Ingredients
- There are several approaches to colon cleansing that use fruits, water, salts, and fibrous foods. Not every method will work for everyone. One of the easiest ways to help clean your colon is by eating foods that are high in fiber and drinking a lot of water. Fruits and vegetables contain a fair amount of fiber and will help to push the fecal mater through the colon on a regular basis.
If you choose to use a juicing method for colon cleansing, you should always use fresh fruits and vegetables. The juice should be consumed at room temperature. If you prepare the juice and wish to store it, it should be stored in an opaque container and should not be stored for more than 24 hours. Any longer than that and the juice will lose some of it's nutritional benefit. A few good vegetables to juice are celery, garlic, beets, cucumber, leafy greens, and radishes. If you juice on a regular basis, mix up the vegetables you use. If you use the same ones all the time, the body can become allergic to them. It also adds variety. - Teas and herbs can also be effective in colon cleansing. A good daily cleanser tea recipe would be to simmer tea for several minutes with cloves, crushed ginger, mint leaves, and basil leaves, let it cool, add a little lemon juice, and drink it while warm. After drinking this tea for about a month, you will notice it's cleansing effects. Fennel is a natural laxative and is a great herb to add to tea for a natural colon cleanse. Garlic, senna, and pepper are just a few spices that, when added to teas or foods, will help to clean the intestines. Psyllium husk is an herb that will naturally soften the fecal matter and help absorb toxins. It can be consumed with water, fruit juices, or tea.
