vaginal yeast infection, aka candida albicans is a nasty condition.
Everybody has these yeast cells in their bodies, and in 80% of the people their immune system deals with them and they are no problem.
However, if you have been taking prescription drugs, birth control pills or under a lot of stress your immunesystem can get out of whack and you can get a yeast infection.
You can get it from intercourse, but it isn't considered as an sexually transmitted disease, though it could be.
Symptoms are very diverse: it could be that your pms gets worse, or that your vagina starts to itch.

So what can be done? Well, yoghurt has been known to help with the vaginal itching, as it soothes and calms.

Meditation can help to reduce stress and help to rebuild your immune system, so it can start tackling the vaginal yeast infection candida on its own.
Personally I have also found a holistic cure which worked very well for me, as it relieves the symptoms within hours.
