Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner. And today I'm going to talk to you about how to keep volume in fine hair. So we've blow dried and styled Vanessa's hair. And she has lots of body you can see. And I'm going to show you how to keep that volume and body throughout the day. And maybe even make it last for a couple of days. So you may have noticed throughout the day once you had your hair blow dried it may start to get a little flat. You start to lose that volume and you might start to get a little bit of greasiness along the sides. And a great trick to combat that is to use a little bit of dry shampoo. And maybe after two or three hours you can go back in. Put a little bit of dry shampoo at the roots and then you can do a quick little rough blow dry just to lift the hair back up and distribute the dry shampoo. And then follow with a spray. So first I'm going to take a little bit of dry shampoo. You can put a bit in your hand. And I like to break it down just a little bit, distribute it. And then go right in the roots. I'm just putting that hair right around the perimeter where the hair starts to get kind of flat. So what happens is the oil starts to, your natural oils starts to weigh the hair down. And the dry shampoo will just soak that right up and it helps the hair to lift, lift back up. I'm just going to blow dry a little bit. You can just distribute that dry shampoo through the hair. And you'll notice right away we are getting all kinds of height and body back into our style. This is a great way to refresh your style. This is a great way to just kind of pick it back up. Okay so once you have the dry shampoo put in the hair and distributed through you've kind of refreshed your style. You've brought it back to life. And then you can just finish with a volumizing hairspray. Today I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Volumizing Anti Humidity Spray. And just go ahead and spray right it right at the roots. Sometimes I like to spray a little bit at the temple just to keep that bit lifted. You can use that technique to refresh your look throughout the day. And then if you want to extend that into the next day before you go to bed you can just take your hair and pin it up to the top. And just take really large sections with your hand, pull it straight up from the head. Create a little pin curl, pin it. And just hit it with a little spray. And you might want to wrap this or cover it in some sort of hair net. And then when you take the pins out the next day you've preserved all that volume. And if you want you can use a little more dry shampoo and with the hair still dry lightly rough dry through it and you still have all your volume preserved. There you go.
