How to Heal the Manipura Chakra
- 1). Lie down or sit in a quiet area where you will not be disturbed, and begin breathing deeply. Place your hands over your stomach: On the inhale, feel your stomach expand and imagine that it is filling with yellow light; on the exhale imagine that you are breathing all the tension out of your stomach and body. Do this slowly and gently for at least six minutes.
- 2). Chant the word "ram" (rahm) very slowly for six minutes. E is the official musical note for this chakra, so chanting or singing this note, or having someone play it on an instrument, will also help to heal and balance the manipura chakra.
- 3). Rub lemon essential oil on a cloth and smell it. Lemon essential oil clears the energy field and activates the manipura chakra. You can place a few drops in an oil burner and keep it lit as you go about your day.
- 4). Eat bananas and other energy foods. The manipura chakra is activated through carbohydrates, sugar and caffeine, but an excess of any of these will block the chakra.
- 5). Run or do another cardiovascular activity. This will immediately charge and activate the manipura chakra. If possible, exercise in the sun and add sit-ups to your workout.
