Liverpool Student Accomodation
Moving out of home and into Liverpool student accommodation means you are one step closer to becoming an adult! Congratulations and commiserations. Although you are finally out from the feet of your parents it does mean you are responsible for feeding yourself, washing your own clothes and paying your own bills.

Cooking can be one of the top student woes for coping when you are fresh in your new student accommodation. Many students resort to ready meals and fast food takeaway. Not only is this bad for your body its also bad for your student loan! We have provided you with some top easy, peasy meals for beginners.

Jacket Potato
Potatoes are super cheap and can be bought in bulk. Not only that but they are absolutely foolproof when it comes to preparation in the kitchen. You can top a jacket potato with just about anything! cheese, beans, tuna and anything else you have lying about. Simply wrap it in foil and bung it in the oven or microwave until you can push a fork through it. Jacket potatoes are also super healthy and can look scrumptious when served with a few salad leaves.

The Anything Pasta Dish
Pasta is another great quick and filling option. you can buy bumper bags to last you the whole month. Also pasta can be served with pretty much anything. Boil it up in a pan of salted water until its soft but still firm to the bite. Throw in some chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic and a few diced vegetables and you have yourself a perfectly acceptable meal.

Omelette
Super fast and super easy! You just need eggs and a bit of milk. Whisk up a couple of eggs with a splash of milk and some salt and pepper. Heat the pan with a bit of oil and super and throw it in. The hardest part is flipping it and ensuring it doesn't stick to the pan. But even if it all goes wrong you still have scrambled eggs, so you can't lose! Chuck in some cheese, bacon, onions and anything else you have lying around for a hot and tasty lunch.

Soup
Soup is simply put - a hug in a mug. Soup is incredibly easy to make and you can even create shed loads and stick it in the freezer until later. All it takes is water, a stock cube and a bunch of veg. Simmer it all on the hob until the veg is soft and then blend it up or leave it chunky. You can go from foolproof to gourmet in a matter of minutes by simply adding spice, herbs and cream.

Curry
Yes making a good curry is something best left to the pro's, but you can make an edible curry with some simply know how. Soften some onions and garlic in the pan, throw in some lentils and water and a tablespoon of curry spice and leave to simmer until the lentils go soft. Add some yoghurt or cream, maybe a handful of chopped tomatoes and serve over rice.Voila!
