As a manager, one of your top priorities is to ensure that the morale of your team is high. High morale leads to high productivity, and the opposite also applies. There are a number of fun and entertaining ways to improve morale in the workplace, and to boost team spirit. - This activity is best enjoyed outdoors. Hide some "'treasure"--perhaps a bottle of champagne or a box of chocolates--and split your team into small groups of two or three. Give each group a riddle that, when solved, will lead them to the location of the next clue, which is another riddle, until finally they find the treasure. This exercise requires teamwork, and finding the treasure boosts morale.

Go-karting is an activity that can be enjoyed by young and old alike. Large teams can be split into smaller groups, and those not driving can cheer on their colleagues. Award prizes to the winners, and maybe even give a gag prize to the loser. Teams can work on a relay basis to boost teamwork ethics and morale. - Find a working kitchen, and split your team into groups of two or three. Give each group the utensils and ingredients needed to cook a meal; then have the groups taste and rate the meals. This helps the team learn to work together to complete a task within a set time.
