Let’s Get (Meta) Physical-OLTL Recap for Wednesday, January 6, 2010
In the diner kitchen, Markko and Cole talk about muscles while in the eating area, their girlfriends talk about Ford. Starr notices that her friend is very distracted about writing her play. In the other room, Cole accuses Markko of also being distracted since he left the top off the blender. When the guys join the gals, Langston slams her laptop shut. The guys then head off to the health club as Starr and Langston continue to talk about her assignment.
Langston continues to be distracted in their conversation. She can’t stop thinking about Ford.
At the health club, Cris interrupts Ford hitting on Layla and makes it clear to Llanview’s newest that Williamson is his. After Layla leaves, Ford introduces himself as Robert Ford to Cris who knows he’s seen him somewhere before. Ford confirms his past on the reality show with Vickers. In another room, Destiny and Shaun work out together doing crunches. “Do I look like Tara Banks yet?” she asks. Shaun is concerned when Destiny says Matthew told her that he and Dani are just friends. He points out that’s the same thing Rachel claimed about Greg and her. Later after they sample a nasty tasting juice, Destiny suggests hot fudge sundaes instead!
Meanwhile at The Palace, Dani and Matthew cut short their first kiss. Buchanan wishes they were kissing hello instead of goodbye. Both joke about it being their first real kiss but agree they liked it. Dan wants another kiss but Matthew said he told Destiny they’re just friends and he doesn’t want to hurt her.
The floor above Blair and Elijah start a hot lovemaking session. When she shies away from unprotected sex, he takes out a condom package. With one sweep of his arm, he clears the desk and throws Blair on it.
At Manning’s place, Tea breaks off her kiss with Todd and prepares to leave. He begs her to stay. They talk about their wedding night and all the plans they had made. He admits that “it was a waste of time” to hate her. She agrees to stay a while longer. In comparison to Blair and Elijah’s session, Todd and Tea have gentle caressing, then lovemaking in his bed. He tells her he loves her. Later as Tea gets dressed, she tells Todd he’ll probably be bedding down Blair before her plane touches down in Tahiti and compares them as the same dependability as death and taxes. Manning pledges he will wait for her forever. They kiss and Tea promises she’ll be back to him some day.
Back at the health club, Markko is about to be crushed by his weight. An arm pulls the weight back up. He thinks it’s Cole and is not happy that it turns out to be Ford. However, he takes the opportunity to pump Ford about the project he turned in, and then gets offended when the film major tells him it’s just not believable and is surprised Markko is calling it a documentary. Rivera then explains that the entire saga around The Road to City Hall is true. Ford leaves and when Cole joins Markko, Rivera is really ticked about the feedback Ford gave him. Cole assures Markko that Langston loves him. Meanwhile, Ford comes in the diner right after Starr has left. Langston is still daydreaming over the laptop.
Over at The Palace, Dani begs for a second kiss since she is leaving town. As they start to kiss, they hear a loud noise from the room above. It’s Blair and Eli getting a little rougher in their session. Eli and Blair hear a knock at the door. She hides behind and he opens it to a very disturbed Renee Buchanan who tells him she’s receives numerous complaints about noise coming from this room. The manager peeks around and is appalled by the disarray of the room. Eli claims he has a sleep disorder as Blair silently giggles behind the door. He promises the ex-Madame he’ll pay for the damages. “Keep it down! Both of you!” and she storms away. The couple laughs and begins another session while one floor below, Matthew tosses his cane and the teens kiss again. Back in Eli’s room, his hair is full of goose feathers. Downstairs, as the teens are starting a third kiss, Tea comes in the door. Matthew snaps a picture of Dani as she pledges to never forget him. Delgado sadly hears the same words Todd said to her.
At the mansion, Todd sits on his bed deep in thought. Meanwhile his ex-wife, Blair, is presented with Elijah’s business card. She tells the attorney she’s not ready for a relationship. He assures her it’s just sex. She smiles.
