New York City is known as the city that never sleeps. However, when the time to sleep does come, visitors to the area can find affordable beds at hostels. At hostels, guests share common rooms--such as kitchens and bathrooms--and sleep in dormitories with strangers that are filled with bunk beds. The typical hostel guest is someone in their twenties traveling alone or with other people their age, usually from another country. - Young adults can meet other travelers from all across the globe at hostels.tourists image by Maria Brzostowska from Fotolia.com
