The largest town of any located in Cornwall United Kingdom is St.
Austell.
Another location that is full of rich history from times past.
A great location to look into a vacation in, or spending a few days just exploring around and learning.
Clay mining is the larger industry from the past in the location, when William Cookworthy found china clay.
When mining was first being done in the area, it was for tin and copper.
Though the clay industry came into higher production during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Though the clay industry doesn't support as many people as it once did, because of changes in technology.
But it's still a very strong industry in this location, along with shops and other businesses.
Including the St.
Austell Brewery which as of 2001 had its 150th year anniversary.
When visiting St.
Austell you should look into visiting the beaches and such other great attractions.
These include the Eden project, which is a site of an old clay pit, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Austell has been undergoing a complete facelift, that is going to make sites better for tourists, and people who live in the area.
