The Religious lies of the Church

Written by Joseph Ho, 3rd March 2015

The last few months have been one after another outpouring of the words of God. The Spirit in the old days may not seem as urgent as it has been today. Maybe God has not found anyone whose spirit is as aligned to his heart before so we never felt the urgency in his heart. There have been much religious lies in the church. These lies have kept the majority of the masses from experiencing the true living God. The God of transformation, resurrection and the abundant life as preached by Jesus was never experienced by the people who went to church.

People went to church, sand songs, pray, attend seminars, celebrate festive seasons, all man-made rituals of this modern age. The true sacrifice of Jesus' disciple was never lived by the Christians. Christians have used God to asked for blessings, wealth, promotion, health and no problem living. They never heard of the sanctification works of the Holy Spirit who is given to those whom Christ has made his people. These are the true people of God because they were accepted by Jesus and not by a church or organization. Jesus himself receives them as his disciple, they were real converts who repented of their sins and seek true transformation.

Another lies of the church is that when you get baptised you have the Holy Spirit in you already, this is not true. The baptism of water will not produce the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is Jesus himself who can baptised anyone with the Holy Spirit. Men cannot, pastors, evangelist cannot. When I was baptised the clouds did not part and no Holy Spirit came upon me, and I was not transformed. But when I began to read the bible and gain knowledge that I needed the baptism of the Spirit to be accepted by Christ than I began to experience the voice of God speaking to me. So I know what is the baptism in water, it is just the baptism in water, it does not produce anything until Jesus baptise with the Holy Spirit will we find power to live a different life.

Only true man of God or Jesus himself can baptize with the Holy Spirit; that is why he said, he is the only way to the Father. No one can fake this power, only approved man of God or Jesus himself has such power. So these church preachers in order to side step this issue began to tell the lies that when you get baptised in water you already have the Holy Spirit in you. This is the blatant lie, it stops people from entering into the Kingdom of God and prevented many from achieving the overcoming life through the gift of the Holy Spirit. Without the power of the Holy Spirit your life will not change, you will remain the same no matter how many years you read your bible or attend church, you are none of his.

John 5:39-40New International Version (NIV)

39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

So many keep reading their bibles, but they refused to come to Jesus for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Without Jesus in you, you cannot have the overcomers' life because the power is in Jesus not the bible. They were afraid to walk in the Spirit by just hearing from him. You do not need to have a load of information by memorising the bible, what you need is revelation and manifestation of a true living God. We can only experience God by going to Jesus for he is the only gate we can enter into the Kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 3:6New International Version (NIV)

6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

John 14:6New International Version (NIV)

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

God is alive and he speaks. Because modern church pastors have put fear into these people that the voice they hear, may not be from God as if God is unable to protect the person from hearing a wrong voice? If Jesus has considered you his sheep he will let you recognize his voice as he has promised. And you shall know his voice, so step out in faith there is no other way, trust and obey. Jesus promised to speak to his sheep, so they will hear and know it is him who is speaking to them. Only when you hear from the Lord, then your life would be different. You will walk in the power of God, a true Christian who knows his God lives and speak to him. That is the true power of a son of God. With God as your guide now, you can do wonders with him, He will provide, he will guide and he will protect and he will give you peace and a sure future.

John 10:3-5New International Version (NIV)

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice."

Isaiah 30:21New International Version (NIV)

21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

If you have been a Christian and your life has not changed then you are the one I am talking about. Yes, you. This article was written for people like you. I am saying the real God has the power to transform anyone and he will restore anyone who seeks him truthfully. And if you have not experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit; then you have not met the real Jesus. The real Jesus will transform and enter your life be with you and be in you when you seek him with all of your heart, mind and soul. When you begin to hear the voice of God then you will never be the same again, your religion will die and you will live in the presence of God, for God now speaks to you. You should not settle for religion what you can obtain by the grace of God the real power of Jesus. Our God is not just bible reading, it is demonstrated by the power of God to change a person's life when they seek God for his kind of joyous life in Christ. No man-made church can confer you the power to enter this kind of kingdom life, only God himself through the power of Jesus can change a person's life by receiving the Holy Spirit baptism that brings forth the New Creation in Christ. Only Jesus himself can grant you the opened ears to hear the Holy Spirit speaks to you and guide you in the ways that you should go. This is the real God we serve. But you still need to be baptised in water as an act of your own freewill which is what you can do the least. That is the protocol of God in the written word.

The third lie is that when you said the sinners' prayers, you will be saved. How many Christians have said this prayer without any change in their lifestyles? Almost 90% of the church members are still living in sin. Meaningless confession will not produce the good soil for accepting Christ as their saviour and master. No, it will not. It's not so simple as has been preached by the mass converters. Jesus is looking for quality confession not mass production of useless words. If you do not mean business with Jesus, you will never see the kingdom of God. The narrow gate belongs to those who have the Holy Spirit, for it is a seal of their salvation and not many has this seal on them. Not many paid the price and not many enter the right gate. Many will try to enter into the kingdom of God but they will not be able, so this indicates it is not easy to enter into heaven. What has been preached today is the easy way, the broad way and not the narrow way. You need to seek God with all your body, heart, mind soul and strength to find him. That's all of your resources in life.

Matthew 7:13-14New International Version (NIV)

The Narrow and Wide Gates

13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Luke 13:24New International Version (NIV)

24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

That is why many have been invited but few are chosen by him to be truly repentant. But that is the protocol in the bible that we must confess Jesus as our lord and saviour and we still need to have a true repentance first to be forgiven. But this will not change us unless we are given the Holy Spirit, the true spiritual power as an acceptance by Jesus to be a New Creation. True Christians have the indwelled Holy Spirit to live a victorious life. That is a true promise given by God. Their righteousness comes from the white robe which clothes them and it is called the Holy Spirit of God. It is also the seven spirits of God. The rainbow or multi-coat of Joseph is symbolic of the white light which is the Holy Spirit. Jacob in fact blessed Joseph with the Holy Spirit which gave him the gift of wisdom and he could interpret dreams of people.

Deuteronomy 6:5New International Version (NIV)

5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Isaiah 30:30New International Version (NIV)

30 The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

You do not have this Holy Spirit if you do not know it is in you. When the Holy Spirit is in you, you can and will feel the power to overcome all your weaknesses and habits that rule your life. Satan cannot enter your body unless you have welcomed it. The drug addiction cannot come into anyone unless he has taken the drugs into his body by his own consent. So God cannot come into you as well if you do not give him your full consent and cooperation. God cannot renew your mind if you do not choose to read the bible and put scripture into your mind. He has nothing to neither remind you nor convict you of any sin when you do not have the vocabulary of his written code of conduct in you. So you need to drink of the bible, the written word which is the living water.

Reading the bible, the word of God, is still a necessity but it will never let you enter into the Kingdom of God. It is a pre-requisite but the condition of your heart will define your spiritual growth. Many Christians can read the bible, quote you the scriptures but they do not have the Holy Spirit in them. It is the Holy Spirit that will define who the real and false Christians are; because without the Holy Spirit you are not his people even when you seek him, you will not be granted to enter the kingdom of God. Without the Holy Spirit the bible words are just words with no power to manifest anything when sent without authority. Men speak scriptures without power to cause any miracle or blessings since it is not authorised by the Holy Spirit.

Only when you are filled to the brim of your mind will Jesus turn it into wine. The new wine is symbolic of the Holy Spirit which then gives forth the power and transforms your life. It takes time. The faster you run to Jesus and the longer you spend time reading the bible, the faster the transformation. So it takes much soaking and meditation and understanding and power from the Holy Spirit before you can move mountains.

Reading is one way of filling yourself with the Holy Spirit, hearing is another way and praying is the act of practise in saying the words of his promise. When we read, hear and speak, we are actually acting out our beliefs. So body mind and soul has been activated to consume the word of God which is the body of Christ. Accepting his sacrifice is drinking his blood, then we consume Christ and then when the time is ripe he will manifest the Holy Spirit in us. Then we will begin to hear a voice telling us which way to go, what to do, when to do, to whom we do the things which the spirit will command us to do.

This then is walking in the will of God. The beginning of wisdom is to first consume the words of God daily. When we need to eat daily to survive, we also need to read daily the bible to wash us of our dirt which we have accumulated when we walk in this world. Reading the bible daily is the same as consuming Christ daily, but we need to drink the blood as well. The blood is where the life of the body is, without the blood the body is dead. So the Spirit will come into you when you consume his blood when you truly ask Jesus to come into your life and you are now willing to live your life for him. He no longer is your saviour, he becomes your master and you do his will.

To grow in Christ we cannot just read the words or hear them, we need to manifest them by practising his words in our life. The more we practise the word of God, the more power we will get from this word because we believe. When we see a man in need the Lord says to give unto that man who asked of our help, so we give. When someone is sick, we the blessed ones are to pray for them, so we need to take time to go to the person's house and pray for them. When someone is in need of advice and counsel, we are to spend time to be with them to comfort them and counsel them. This is called doing good. We cannot do good works our own way and by our own judgment of the situation to enter into the kingdom of God, but we can do good works guided by the Holy Spirit in order to be co-workers of the kingdom of God. So we need to be instructed by God through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit who speaks to us. All mercy must be approved by God for his own glory, we are not to discharge the blessings of God without his approval and for our own fame and glory.

Deuteronomy 12:28New International Version (NIV)

28 Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.

2 Chronicles 31:20New International Version (NIV)

20 This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God.

Matthew 24:46New International Version (NIV)

46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

Acts 9:36New International Version (NIV)

36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor.

Galatians 6:9New International Version (NIV)

9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Titus 3:14New International Version (NIV)

14 Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

The good that we must do must be approved in the eyes of God. It must not be human good or good done in our human understanding. We are saved and approved by God to do his work and not the good as defined by our own understanding. Our own righteousness is not good in the sight of God; it is filthy rags to him. That is why doing good our own way can back fire on us.

1 Peter 2:12New International Version (NIV)

12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

We do not need to tell everyone we are Christians because by our life we can show to them we are different. That we glorify our God through our living as we become the living stones; the true ones who lived out the principles in the bible as commanded by the Lord our God. Jesus spoke and his words are the truth, the way and the life. So when we practised some of his words, we become a living stone to his glory. We cannot become the living rock, as Jesus is the rock and we are the stones. No students will be greater than their teachers.

By walking the scriptures and the teachings of God in what we do daily, the pagans or non-believers will know that we are Christians. These good deeds have to be ordained by God so we can become good stewards and not wasteful people by doing our own good works to please God. Unless you begin to do the good works as instructed by the Holy Spirit, you will not know who or what kinds of people are loved by God; how God answers the prayers of these poor believers and why he answers only their prayers and not others. No one will be convinced that you teach the truth until you show them that you walk in the truth. You demonstrate your conviction by your actions. The price to pay to be a disciple of Jesus is not cheap; it takes a sacrificial life to become one with the Lord. This is the great pearl which the Lord is speaking about when he taught the world.

God teaches us by using our circumstances and the events to show us his truth that is why he made the world in the first place. He does not teach us by speaking to us only; he will let us experience his truth. Only then can we understand that when we walked against his will we will suffer in pain and agony and lost time in our lives which are not productive or profitable. In this way, he writes the laws into our hearts. We will then experience the truth with all the consequences of the pain if we disobey his words and counsel. This is the only way a truth can be taught to the people, the pain must also be written into our hearts for us to be totally convinced of his truth. I learn wisdom from him by doing errands for the lord and use my resources to buy the truth.

Proverbs 23:23New International Version (NIV)

23 Buy the truth and do not sell it—wisdom, instruction and insight as well.

Even Jesus himself went about doing good after he was anointed by God.

Acts 10:38King James Version (KJV)

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

When we do good, it has to be done in the name of our Lord God and not for our self-gain and interests. God has to command the deed that we do, else we would be doing in our own capacity which will result in fruitlessness and bareness. God will only provide for us when we obey his commands to do every deed when he commands us to do. He will supply you with the provision to do the deed when it is done according to his will. Whatever you do, God has to be in the situation else you will never be able to solve the person's problems. God allows us to witness his good works when we do things according to his instructions. He is still teaching us how he does the good works. It is not our prayers that have power to heal but it is God who instructs us to pray and he himself answers their prayers. We are just his mouth piece; we have no power to heal. He made us look like gods when we are not.

Ephesians 6:6-8King James Version (KJV)

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

So God cannot trust anyone to do his work unless they are in agreement with him, willing to be taught and obey his instructions carefully. Such people are few, so the miracles are few for many do not want to do things God's way as it embarrasses them in the eyes of the world. We refuse to be foolishness in the eyes of the world for the service to the Lord our God, thus he is unable to deposit his power in us. We are not vessels made for honour as we do not want to humble ourselves to serve him.

Isaiah 48:17New International Version (NIV)

17 This is what the Lord says—  your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
"I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

Deuteronomy 4:12New International Version (NIV)

12 Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.

Psalm 95:7-8New International Version (NIV)

7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8 "Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,

Hebrews 3:15New International Version (NIV)

15 As has just been said:

"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion."

Revelation 3:20New International Version (NIV)

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Ephesians 2:22New International Version (NIV)

22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
