    • 1). Turn the ignition switch to off. Detach the negative cable from the battery, then detach the positive cable. Wait a few minutes to ensure no backup power is arming the airbag system.

    • 2). Push down on the blower motor electrical connector locking tab and pull the connector out of the blower motor.

    • 3). Use a socket wrench to unscrew the screw holding the blower motor in place. Remove the motor from the blower motor resistor.

    • 4). Use a socket wrench to remove the push nut and clamp on the back of the blower motor.

    • 5). Use a socket wrench to unscrew the screw holding the blower motor to the blower wheel. Pull the blower wheel from the motor.

    • 6). Replace the motor with a new one.

    • 7). Reverse the previous steps to install.
