Some Common Work From Home Problems You Should Look Out For
Although you would think they would die out after a while statistics have shown that they are still alive and well preying on the new users who do not have as much experience as some of the rest of us.
This article will try to explain some of the most common work from home scams and how you can avoid them.
The first scam that is probably most common is the fake check cashing scam.
Basically a company will for one reason or another want to send you a check and have you cash it then sending them a small portion of the cash back.
The first thing to think about is why on earth would a company need to send money to the united states just to have it cashed and mailed back to them? It doesn't even make logical sense! Of course they will try to tell you that they have a locked trust account or can't get an American bank account or some other stupid reason.
Anyway what really happens is once you cash the check and send the money back to them you will get a call from your bank that say something like "That check you cashed was a fake and your account will be debited for the amount you pulled out".
So basically you are out whatever money you sent back to the jerks.
If anyone ever tells you they want to send you checks and have you cash them for them just ignore and move on.
Another scam targeted at work from home individuals is the paid training scam.
A lot of different forms of this scam pop up all over but the main idea is that you are offered a job at a high salary working from home.
The catch is you have to go through a "training program" that costs $49.
99 or some other amount of money.
They will tell you this is for supplies or training stuff.
They will then take your money and either say you didn't pass the training, ask you for more money for a uniform or just plain ignore you.
A good rule of thumb is to remember that if you are getting hired somewhere for real then they will cover any training and hiring costs.
If there was a real company that couldn't handle these costs then they probably shouldn't be hiring.
These are just two of the many different work from home scams that you may run into.
A good thing to remember is that if it seems to good to be true then it probably is.
Don't fall victim to any of these stupid peoples tricks or scams.
